Why offer a discount to veterans? What’s in it for me? I already offer discounts to veterans? My prices are already cheap, why would I offer anything extra to veterans? Why pay extra so veterans can see that I support them? These are all common questions and statements that I get everyday from business owners. The awnser and response I give is simple, “Its important for veterans to be able to see, feel and experience your support”. Support is all around in our communities; however, I am only able to find it because of the nature of my job. Every day its my duty to find and bring that support to the forefront so veterans can have a safe place to turn to when they need it. As a vocal and visual supporter of veterans you not only show your support to those who have sacrificed for our country, you are also letting those around you (potential customers) know that you care and thats important. Its a big mistake when Veteran Owned Business and Patriotic Businesses don’t let those they serve know they support America, our Military and our Veterans. Fact: It drives traffic plus supports veterans mentally, physically and emotionally within their communities.

Many veterans don’t ask for discounts because its not in their nature, we are to humble and proud; however, by being vocal and visual it creates a safe place allowing for veterans to feel more comfortable to ask for the support if they need it. As a medically retired Coast Guardsman who has seen and felt this first hand I ask that you be loud and proud about your support of our nations veterans, because it matters!
